This gateway forms the entrance to a power plant. The form creates a dialogue between local tribal geometries and industrial technology. The design development was undertaken through physical and 3D digital modelling with the geometric information of the digital model being used to create CNC pre-fabricated components that were assembled on site. The two hyperbolic paraboloid halves of the structure are independently hinged and are connected by a central piece. At 33 meters, this is the tallest stainless steel structure in South Asia.
